I pull outta the driveway, left, right, straight, don’t care
Needin’ miles, distance, space, between me &,,,whatever,,
No thinkin’ no talkin’ just go man, go, far,fast, go!
Nothing specific botherin’ me, just life, just people, just stuff

Pigs flyin in the wind, dogs in the sand, painted clouds sparking tears of fire
Funnel clouds of debris in my head washing over me like a tsunami

A few lefts, a right another left, guy on a Springer waves
School bus stopping, geese crossing the road, garbage man tossin’ cans
like candy wrappers
Gas stations, town halls, greens, VFW,
Chemical plant, toy factory, almost there
Schools, then barns, cows, nuthin
Left, right, straight
No matter, I’m ridin’
Eyes on the horizon, minds blank, silent, then thunder, bang!
Pulled back, no, not yet,go faster, go further, go,man go
F350 parked on shoulder, girl slaps guy then winks as I fly past
Not a clue, not him, not her, not me, not a Goddamn clue
Yellow light, BabyRed needs a drink, I need drink, not now
Nothing in sight,, we go until we can’t, then we keep goin
No matter, I’m ridin’
Kids ball rolls out, stop there son, I’m too fast, to slow, too old to stop
Run to mama, trade that red wagon for a Bike
I’ll be the GEEZER with the patches & the stories, we’ll meet,
If I make it that far

Peace, quite, only engine, nice, nice, then thunder again
Not outside, inside
Road to Hana, volcano, cliffs, rocks waves, tequila bottles under the bed
Pushed, pulled, torn, loved, succotash & gravy, crap on my boots

Witches on bicycles, dogs in baskets, this ain’t Kansas TOTO
Gremlins hiding in the bush, tacks in the road, pot holes
Yellow light’s been on, nothin in sight, I should get back
That’s me going by, I passed myself on the road, WTF?
Old drugs, past demons revisit, now then, when, why
No matter, I’m ridin’
I’m home, didn’t plan it, just happened
Maybe I never left
